COREC Celebrates Providers and Service Partners

Cal Optima Regional Extension Center (COREC) honored Orange County providers for achieving adoption, implementation, or upgrade (AIU) to a certified EHR (electronic health record) at a recent COREC event in April. The photo, shows 20 Family Health Practice and other Orange County providers with e2o Health team members who provide their services. e2o Health is proud of these doctors and staff who have adopted EHRs and demonstrated meaningful use, and of the e2o Health team members who helped them.

e2o Health staff member and physician, Anu Srinivasan (First row – center), Project Manager, workflow Analysis & EHR Trainer, commented on this achievement. She shared, "Providers in Orange County for the most part are Vietnamese. They are culturally conservative, and it takes time for them to open up. This gives us the opportunity to build trusting relationships. We also develop a sense of commitment along the way. Now the physicians appreciate and feel very comfortable knowing that they can count on us to address any or all their issues, until they are resolved to their satisfaction. Sometimes we have to work beyond the working hours to make sure that this happens."

"I got a compliment from Dr Lynn at the AIU event He said, ‘Anu is always available. Whenever I need, I can call her.’ This is true for all of our team members. Two of our team members are Vietnamese and speak Vietnamese with the doctors. When they speak with them, the doctors listen!"

"The experiences I’ve had working with Family Practice and other physicians’ practices have enabled me to understand the dynamics of a provider’s practice, be it solo or group. No one size fits all!! The most essential factor is to remember to LISTEN, which empowers us to focus on the provider’s and practices specific needs. This translates into providing the QUALITY SERVICES that physicians are entitled to and for which we take PRIDE in delivering."
