CalHIPSO Assigns e2o
Health as EHR Specialist Action Team (ESAT)
Press Release, June 2013
Congratulations! Due to
exemplary prior performance assisting providers in achieving Stage One
Meaningful Use through CalHIPSO’s Regional Extension Program (REC), e2o
Health qualifies to be listed as an ESAT partner. e2o Health’s eligibility
was calculated based on a composite analysis of a high rate of M2
(Implementation) and/or M3 (MU Attestation) milestone achievement with specific
EHR vendor products, as well as short recorded M2/M3 timeframe gaps.
ESAT partners are intended to be
rapidly deployed to address specific barrier issues on the path to MU on a
case-by-case basis throughout CalHIPSO’s member population and across Local Extension
Centers (LEC). e2o Health will appear on a list provided to all LECs with a
specific proficiency with the following:
eClinicalWorks – Implementation Support
NextGen – Implementation and MU Attestation Support
Many
of the barriers providers face may be led to specific EHR vendors, where a high
degree of software or software environment expertise is required to remove the
barriers. e2o Health staff are certified NextGen EHR and EPM professionals who
are well qualified to provide expert assistance with implementation and MU
attestation support. Our new division, Meaningful Use Experts, focuses on
meaningful use support to help clinics meet the M2 and M3 milestones.
The
goal of the ESAT program is to directly address vendor-related barriers in
achieving REC program milestone goals. To date, 83% of CalHIPSO’s member
clinics have achieved M2, but only 23% have achieved M3.
E2o
Health is proud to be selected as one of the ESAT teams!
